Bulgaria is known best for its natural beauty thanks to its beaches, weather, and culture. This place is unlike anywhere else you visit, and we can guarantee there will be nothing here that you might have experienced elsewhere. This glorious country is full to the brim of spectacular wildlife in which the environment compliments.
On top of this, the towns are great too and you’re never too far from civilisation. What most people who stay here generally comment on is how friendly and welcoming the locals are, this is something that has always been ever-present throughout Bulgaria.
Travellers often forget Bulgaria and instead go for a more commonly reputable holiday destination such as Spain. Although Spain hasn’t acquired its reputation for no reason, Bulgaria is seemingly unfairly dealt with in terms of reputation.
Bulgaria doesn’t have any negative reviews but it seems as though a positive review isn’t around either. We’re about to explain why you should never underestimate Bulgaria as a holiday destination .
Countryside & the Weather
Whilst it isn’t the hottest country in the world, Bulgaria still manages to reach temperatures of around 22 degrees, and occasionally soars to 27.
With comfortable heat like this you are more likely able to move around, wear your summer clothes such as T-shirt and shorts and not feel cold at any point. With an environment like Bulgaria’s, why not explore it in such ideally warm, but not too warm sun?
The mountains are something of a natural landmark throughout the country. If you wish to hike up them they generally aren’t too high to do this, but the rewards are all the same. The views once you get to the top, as you might have suspected, are always magnificent.
Each year, there is a “valley of fragrance” as it is known, in which attracts thousands of people each year. This attraction is a valley full to the brim with roses and the smell is like no other.. This is definitely the most suggestive symbol of the country; if you wish to visit these roses it is advised you book extremely early in order to do so as it is unbelievably popular.

The beaches
The beaches in any country cannot be forgotten about, and the Bulgarian beaches are no different. You might not have anticipated this before, but some of these sandy beaches stretched across Bulgaria’s coastline are also some of the best Europe has to offer.
Some of the most famous towns are located along the coast of the Dead Sea, such as; Russalka, Albena, St. Konstantin and Helena. These are all definitely worth a visit, as they all boast accessibility to the fantastic beaches located near them. All in all, the beaches in Bulgaria are just as good, if not better than the beaches in most other countries around Europe.
